She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Lasly and Lucille Lasly; her husband William Sylvester "Silver" Brashear; her children, Ronald Curtis Lasly and Deborah Lynn Dowell; her grandson Landy Dowell; and her sister Gracie Lavenia Vandiver (Beans).
She is survived by: her close friend Ray Masseau; her daughter-in-law Ramona Lasly; and her grandchildren, Ronald Lasly, Jr., Shayne Dowell (Priscilla) and Chad Dowell (Jennifer). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
