He was predeceased by: his father Billy Joe Ellis of Cypress Fairbanks. He is survived by: his mother Joan Woolverton Ellis Fox of Tennessee Colony, TX.; his brother Joe Ben Ellis; his sister-in-law LaNell Ellis; and his nieces, Chelsey Dunn of Tyler and Callie Jo Ellis of Longview.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tennessee Colony Community Center, 1419 ACR 2501, Tennessee Colony, TX. 75861.
