He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Richey and Minnie Richey (Kuhn); his siblings, Betty Files, Vergie Dinsmore, Opal Wied and Jerry Richey; and his daughter Angie Mingus.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Wanda Johnson; his sons, Mike Mingus (Tammy), Kenneth Richey (Monica Ruegsegger) and Darrell Richey; and his siblings, Pamela Foster (John), Martha Delano (Robert), Jimmy Richey (Cindy Hebert), Bruce Richey and Donna Richey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
