It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera D. Roberts of Tenaha, Texas, born in Panola, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her fathers, George Davis Jr. and James Vernie Lawhorn Davis; her son Jerry Michael Estes; and her brothers, Billy Davis, Johnny Davis and Wayne Davis.
She is survived by: her husband William Lee "Wild Bill" Roberts of Tenaha; her sons, Eddie Dewayne Estes (Mickey) of Joaquin and James Ray Estes; her daughter-in-law Angel Rogers of Joaquin; her stepchildren, Elizabeth Middlebrooks (Derrick) of San Antonio and Frank Albert Roberts of Center; her grandchildren, Michael Middlebrooks, Adam Roe (Kayla), Andrea Estes, Tiffany Kendrick (Bubba), Ben Middlebrooks (Ryla), Ashley Puckett (Jordan), Shannon Roberts, Rachel Middlebrooks, Michael Wayne Estes, Shane Roberts, Mason Roberts, Logan Roberts, Kevin Roberts, Alaina Roberts, Ethan Brandon and Marlea Brandon; her great grandchildren, A. J. Roe, Hondo Roe, Maddilynn Roe, Lila Roe, Easton Holt, Jaxon Holt, Ryan Kendrick, Caitlyn Kendrick and Asher Middlebrooks; her sister Mary Skinner of Tomball; her sisters-in-law, Cherry Davis and Betty Davis; and her niece Misty Davis. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
