He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Lee Strong and Anna Bell Eddins Strong; and his sister Marie Born. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelsey Strong of Tenaha, Ann Strong, Casey Langford of Longview and Joanna Strong of Hawkins; and his siblings, Alvin Strong of Center, Cecil Strong (Karie) of Center, Waymon Strong of Longview, Johnnie Higginbotham of San Augustine and T. W. Strong of Carthage. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
