He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McDonald and Ruby Woolsey McDonald; and his siblings, Joseph McDonald, Alvin McDonald and Ann Lampley.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra McDonald of Tenaha; his son Jason McDonald (Michelle) of Tenaha; his grandchildren, Crystal Barbee (Dylan) of Mabank and Corey McDonald of Tenaha; his great grandchildren, Eli Barbee and Adelin Barbee; and his brothers, Calvin McDonald (Tammy) of Marshall, David McDonald (Pat) of Tenaha and Jimmy McDonald of Zwolle, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
