He is survived by: his siblings, Judith Adams (Holly) of Tenaha, Sheila Wiggins (Charles) of Shreveport, Louisiana and James "Jimmy" Jackson of Tenaha; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Jackson of Joaquin and Sylvia Jackson of Tenaha; his close friends, Mildred Stewart of Mt. Ida and Sandra Ratliff; and his son Zack of Cullen, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
