With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bennie Evelyn Alford of Tenaha, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Bryant Cobb and Essie Cobb (Smith); her former husband J. B. "Jake" Alford; her children, Larry Hoyt Alford, Barbara Ann Smith and Brenda Daniels; her grandsons, Donnie Spurlock and Timmy Spurlock; and her son-in-law Kenny Donahoe.
She is survived by: her husband John Bail Alford; her children, Joyce Marie Sloan (Mike), Nancy Donahoe, Johnny Randall Alford (Ione) and John Bell Alford (Lori); and her grandchildren, Tammy Evelyn Winn, Mark Randall Alford (Sylvia), Kimberly Ann Kirkland (Kevin), Johnny Spurlock (April), Mike Smith (Robyn), Ronnie Smith (Joann), Terry Smith (Mona), Jenny LaBay (Daniel) and Emily Alford-Hemus (Cody). She is also survived by Numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
