We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024, at the age of 62, Yaminah Salaam (Temple, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Ayers Jr. Known (Cheryl). She is survived by: her mother Ellen Pettyjohn; her children, Lakeisha, Tymik, Quran Sr., Dominique and Atiya; her grandchildren, Amaiya, Ljay, Noelle, Jaelyn, Quran Jr., Qaylisa, Qristian, Tyler, Bella, Aubrey and Kehlani; and her siblings, Antoinette, George III, Caleb, Maria, Kisha, Jacqueline, James, Rodney and Rocshekie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Branford Dawson Funeral Home Inc. (718 S 7th St, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
