He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Arnold and Martha Arnold (Mangan); his wife Ophelia Gertie Arnold (Murrow); his daughter Nelda Ann Collins (Arnold); his siblings, Thomas Douglas, Mary Ann Renick and Lillian Scott; and his grandson Joe Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Kay Arnold; and his brother-in-law Wilburn.
