He is survived by: his wife Iris; his daughters, Nancy Godbey of Durant Oklahoma, Sara Reed of Lufkin, Bonus and Dawn Zorn of Kilgore; his sons-in-law, Andy Reed and Bobby Godbey; his siblings, Rita Carter, Margaret Cooper, Jimmy, Gene and Jerry; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Dolores Bogdon of Denison.
