He was predeceased by: his parents, Ermon Chamlee and Annabel Post Chamlee; and his sisters, Beverly Post Robinson, Helen Post Kirby and Dorothy Post Wilson (Teeny).

He is survived by: his former spouse Chloris Ann Combest; his wife Mary Chamlee of Belton; his daughters, Alisabeth "Betsi" Chamlee (Jim Gunlock) of Temple and Margaret "Meg" Chamlee Pitrucha (Craig) of Temple; his grandchildren, Bethany Zabcik LeBoeuf (Matthew LeBoeuf) of Euless, Alisa Zabcik of Denver, CO and Alan Zabcik (Ilima Santiago Zabcik) of Pearl River, NY.; his stepchildren, Pat Wilkinson (Marshall "Skip" Powell) of Belton, Pam Wilkinson of Ruidoso, NM and Paul Wilkinson of Temple; his stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Roeder Stern (Christopher Stern), Whitney Roeder Platina (Gino Platina), Rebekah Knighten (Chris Knighten), Patrick Roberson and Hannah Wilkinson of Ft; and also, Sarah Arnold Roberts (Korbett), Caleb, Benjamin, Andrew of Waco, Katherine Arnold Hutcheson (Byron Hutcheson), Annie, Libby of Houston, Jim, Ashley Gunlock of Rockford, IL, Stephanie Gunlock of Normangee, TX., Chloe, Camden, Charlotte of Belton, Joey of Sacramento, CA., Emma, Savannah of Ruidoso, Cole and Aurora Roberson of Rio Rancho, NM..

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cultural Activities Center or any arts organization of your choice.

“Meg, Bobbye Wiggington works for my restaurant in Killeen, Polar Bear Sweet Treats and Eatery. I informed her about your Dad's passing so she could post to our classmates. Your Dad contributed so much to our community! Mary was my favorite teacher in high school. She was such a sweet lady. I feel for so many of our friends loosing their parents these days as I am so blessed to still have mine doing great still in Temple. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time! Barry Baxley”
