It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edwin Entzminger Jr. (Temple, Texas), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ella Swygert Entzminger; and his granddaughter Kate Ryan Entzminger. He is survived by: his father William Edwin Entzminger, Sr. (Bill); his son Jason Eric Entzminger (Sarah); his granddaughter Riley Kay; his daughter Ginger Rae Davis (Tommy); his grandsons, Bryce Michael and Braxton Lee; his siblings, Katherine Shelton (late Stacy), David Entzminger (Cindy), Wade Entzminger (Joyce), Russell Entzminger and Michael Entzminger (Laina); and his nephew Clydette Entzminger Jones.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Greathouse Cemetery (2369 FM93, Temple, TX 76502).
William was a member of First Baptist Church of Academy and the family requests memorials be made to the Church in lieu of flowers.
