He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D. Brodie and Ruth Harkins Brodie; his wife Anna Marie Kurtin; and his sisters, Mary Tulloch and Ruth Layne.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen W. Brodie (Robin) of Houston and John R. Brodie (Arlis) of Houston; and his grandchildren, James Brodie of Arlington, Tommy Brodie of Dallas, Michael Brodie of Houston, Nicole Brodie of Houston and Jordan Brodie of Houston.
