It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell F. Smith Sr. of Temple, Texas, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Marie and James Franklin Smith; and his daughter Carla Sue Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Smith of Temple; his sons, Wendell Frank Smith, Jr. (Cynthia) of Leander and James Gregory Smith of Des Moines; and his grandchildren, Linsey, Emily, Sarah and Ian. He is also survived by his two sons, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
