He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vaughan and Mavolyn Vaughan (Justice); and his brother Kirby Harold Vaughan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn of Temple; his sons, Darrell Vaughan (Shutona) of Longview and Trace Vaughan (Sissie) of Temple; and his siblings, Sharon Stewart of Temple, Vickie Wadsworth of Temple, Debbie Gunn of Temple, Becky Posner of Tennessee and Paul Vaughan of Temple. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
