She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Missouri and Ruby Faye King Jefferson. She is survived by: her children, Johnie Scurry of Temple, Texas, Gary Scurry Jr. of Temple, Texas, Charlotte Barber of Temple and Ebony Ivry of Killeen, Texas; and her siblings, Roosevelt Wright Jr. of Phoenix, Steve Gordon of Houston, Texas and Helen Dixon of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two god granddaughters, one god grandson.
