He is survived by: his sister Edna Irene Brett Welton; his niece Linda Brett Tidwell; and his children, Cynthia Ann French, Karen Jane Brett, Mitchell Owen Brett and Chris Brett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
