She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Thompson and Gladys Harrison Thompson; her sons, John Thompson and Alan Thompson; and her siblings, Darlene Blunson, Howard Thompson, Willie A. "Chubby" Thompson and Fred Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Thompson of Mesquite, Cecile Hollins of Temple, Cynthia Riley of Temple, Charlotte Freeman of Temple and Tracy Johnson of Temple; and her siblings, Bobby Joe Thompson of Temple, Texas and Eldora "Doddie" Johnson of Temple. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
