It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Allen (Temple, Texas), who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Ruby Nell; and his brothers, Charlie Lewis Allen and Leslie Allen. He is survived by: his wife Alma Allen of Temple, Texas; his children, Tyrone Holmes of Kempner, Michael Smith of Temple, Dexter Smith of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Bennett of Temple, Texas and Sylvia Johnson of Temple, Texas; and his siblings, Lloyd Allen of Wharton, Texas, Kenneth Allen of Wharton, Texas, Roland Allen of Wharton, Texas, Alfred Duncan of Wharton, Texas, Elsie Faye Allen of Rosenburg, Robbie Faye Lee of Wharton, Texas and Lula Mae Allen-Ray of Wharton, Texas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
