He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom F. Watson and Bonnie Massey Watson; his father-in-law DeWayne Draeger; his brothers, Tommy Dwaine and Ronnie Dale Watson; and his grandchildren, Baby Diaz and Kenlie Nicole Diaz.

He is survived by: his daughters, Marlena Watson and Danielle (Tony Diaz); his grandchildren, Alexzander, Anna and Antany Whisenant; his brother Ricky Watson; his mother-in-law Lydia Draeger; and his siblings-in-law, Diana Draeger and Mitchell Draeger (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and friends.
