She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Abalos Amador and Alberto Garcia; and her brother Miguel Angel Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Jose Adrian Torres; her children, Tim Garcia, Ramon Avila, Christina Rojas, Mauricio Olivarez Jr., Jesus Enrique Olivarez and Leticia Reina Avila Hernandez; and her siblings, Alberto Garcia Jr., Yolanda Flores, Tomas Delgado and Tony Mendoza Jr.. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Sylvia was a generous and thoughtful woman with an enormous heart who donated to many organizations and charities.
