He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Grenier and Johnnie Mae Grenier (Swartz); and his granddaughter Bonnie Ella Grenier. He is survived by: his son Michael Scott Grenier (Ashley) of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, Kenzie Elizabeth, Michael Scott Jr., Maddison Rose, John Luke and Isabelle Kathrine Grenier; and his sisters, DeeAnn Holley and Susan Grenier. He is also survived by nephews and many friends.
