It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sleeta Jane Edwards (Temple, Texas), who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cason Swindle and Ardie Jane Alkins; her husband Billie Edwards; and her siblings, Nora Minatre, Ladale Larkin, Dorman Swindle, Clifford Swindle, Wayne Swindle, Lloyd Swindle and Herman Alton Swindle.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Gene Edwards of Temple and Rhonda Edwards Davis (Dale) of Brownwood; and her brothers, Lee Swindle (Peggy) of Temple and Bill Swindle (Patsy) of Abilene. She is also survived by grandchildren and fifteen precious great-grandchildren.
