With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Silas Thornton of Temple, Texas, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thompson; his children, Silas A. Thornton, William K. Thornton, Barry R. Thornton, Jerry D. Thornton, Commilla A. Taylor, Silene J. Mills and Terri Lee; and his sister Mary Price. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
