With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Urie of Temple, Texas, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on April 28, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest E. Holden and Lillian Opal "Sharp" Holden; her husband James Lee Urie; her grandson Matthew Urie; and her brother Huey Holden.
She is survived by: her children, Darren, Gary Urie and Karen Urie of Temple; her stepdaughter Kathy Bruckner; her sister Joyce Smith (Day) of Temple; her sister-in-law Linda Holden of Spring; and her aunt Nellie Peavy of Crosby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
