He was predeceased by: his grandfather Howard Brunson; and his aunt Christy Coleman. He is survived by: his parents, Brent McCallum and Lorie McCallum; his siblings, Allison Nitschke (Carson), Aaron Krueger (Kamryn) and Austin Krueger (Julia Wagner); his grandmothers, Marilyn McCallum and Elaine Brunson; his uncle Brandon McCallum (Leslie); his cousins, Leah McCallum, Lindsey McCallum, Josh Coleman (Kamylle) and Amy Shoemaker (Justin); and also, Parker Rei and Asher Knox.

In lieu of flowers, a college scholarship fund is set up in honor of Sean.
