He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Sammy Jr. and Monica; his stepchildren, Malissa Bower (Chris) of Columbus, Indiana, Cassi McFarland (Clay) of San Marcos and Emily Vrana of Liberty Hill, Texas.; and his siblings, Mary Conlon (Tom), Anita McIntosh (Frankie) and Rojelio Hernandez of Temple, TX.. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews and 57 great nieces and nephews.
