She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Mae Turner and W. D. Turner, Sr.; her stepmother Minerva Ray Hicks-Turner (Robert J. Featherston Sr.); her son Gerald Featherston; and her siblings, Willie D. Turner Jr., Barbara N. McIntyre, Wanda J. Rollins and Annette Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Featherston Sr.; and her sisters, Diane Turner, Karen Thomas (Patrick), Leticia Wilson (Carl) and Renee Brooks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
