It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Hunter Barnes in Temple, Texas, born in Belton, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Kyle Carpenter; her husband Dorman Hunter of Belton; her siblings, Tommie Lee Crane, Kyle Don Carpenter, Rick Carpenter and Peggy Hayes; and her parent Willie Lee Carpenter.
She is survived by: her sons, Forrest Craig (Bernadette) of Georgetown and Dorman Keith (Valerie) of San Antonio; her sister Judy (Lynn) of Littleton; and her grandchildren, Sara Kenton (Adam) of Dripping Springs, Katy Wilmore (Spencer) of Ft. Worth, Dana Whitney (Miles) of China Spring and Forrest Craig Hunter Jr. (Alaura) of Anahuac. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association and encourage all to volunteer at your local memory care facility.
