He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Vanecek and Marge F. Vanecek (David). He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Vanecek of Richardson, Richard Vanecek and Michelle Vanecek of Temple; and his niece Tegan Jacobson of Georgetown.
