He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Norvell and Ilevia Green Norvell; his spouse Shirley Johnson; his son Anthony Johnson; and his siblings, Raymond Norvell, Connie Ward and Verda Schooley.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Norvell of Arkadelphia, Ernest Norvell of Arkadelphia, Gayton Norvell, Paul Johnson, Jackie McPeak of Arkadelphia and Angela Finley of Temple, Texas; and his sisters, Arlelia Crooks of Temple, Texas, Gwendolyn West of Temple, Texas and Barbara Stokes of Temple, Texas. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
