He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dears and Jessie Mae Riggins (Banks) of Temple; his grandparents, Dave and Anna Banks of Temple; and his sisters, Nancy Hollins of Killeen, Patricia Dears and Helen Bradford of Temple.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hendricks (Dears) of Temple, Texas; his sister Mildred Haynes (Gene) of Temple, Texas; and his son Jimmy Peoples, Sr. (Ellen) of Temple, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
