He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Reuben Powell Jr. and Gloria Yvonne Powell (Adams); and his brother Larry Powell. He is survived by: his wife Gail Powell of Temple; his children, Stephen Gray (Norma) of Mico, Stephanie Haley (John) of Plant City and Jennifer Williams (Jeremy) of Dallas; his sister Paula Nordt of Fulshear; his grandchildren, Chase Haley, Reagan Haley, Austin Haley, Reese Haley, Hendon Haley, Tristan Haley, Savannah Gray, Sam Gray, Dani Gray, Ella Williams and Lucy Williams; and his great grandchildren, Cooper and Barrett.
