He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Banks and Mazie Banks (Norton); his siblings, Gilbert, Claude Banks and Judy Daniels; his spouse Erin Shaw of Temple; and his daughters, Tazzah (Gerald Broadway) of Louisiana and Whitney (Jeff Shaw-Lewis) of Temple.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gerald, Danielle Broadway, Payton Shaw-Thomas, Elijah Shaw-Lewis and Duncan Lewis; and his great grandchild Zoey Robinson.
