He was predeceased by: his former wife Lorraine Beckwith; and his son Mark Beckwith. He is survived by: his wife Eva; his daughter Allison Putney; his son-in-law Chris; his grandchildren, Sadie, Audrey and Joe; his siblings, Mae and Dean; and his stepchildren, Lisa Johnson of Temple, John McCasland of Austin and Matt McCasland of Denton, TX. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
