It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Dooley of Temple, Texas, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Johnson and Tina Johnson; her husband Tom Dooley; her siblings, Joyce Holford, Harry Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Shorty Johnson and Bobby Johnson; her grandson David Toole II; and her sister-in-law Judy Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Walker (Boyce) of Troy, Betty Jo Barnes (Tim Wells) of Pleasant Hill and Woody Shuler of Belton; her brother David Johnson of Temple; her grandchildren, Jeb White, Samantha Toole, Justin Shumake, Jordyn Barnes, Ryan Shuler, James Barnes, Cody Shuler, Jackson Barnes and Luke Shuler; her close friend Patsy Melton; and her pet Molly. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
