He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Garcia, Sr. and Rosa Garcia Reyna; his wife Mary Sue Rendon; his son Paul Garcia III; and his siblings, Robert "Cono" Garcia, David "Duke" Garcia and Juana McCoy.

He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Garcia (Belinda), Tony Garcia and Michael Garcia; his siblings, Johnny, Albert, Jesse, Ralph Garcia, Paulino Rodriguez Castillo, Eva Garcia and Maggie Brantley; and his granddaughters, Liliana and Isabella Garcia.
