He is survived by: his parents, Casey Mikes and Alayna Mikes; and his grandparents, John, Shelley Schmidt, Danny and Amy Mikes.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Temple in Owen's memory, with Owen Mikes in the memo line.
