It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Coleman of Temple, Texas, born in Abbott, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Orva Tinsley; her husband Dr. Adrian Coleman; and her siblings, Warren Tinsley, Ruby Hamilton, Dorothy Bateman, Estelle Colwell and Betty Ann Hanna.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Coleman (Susan) of Temple and Kathie Schumpert of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Erin Schumpert, Collin Schumpert of Columbia, Katie Otwell (Matt) and Tyler Coleman (Dorothy) of Temple. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Coleman Scholarship Funds at First Baptist Church Lampasas, 402 S. Key Ave, Lampasas, Texas 76550 and Howard Payne University, 1000 Fisk St., Brownwood, Texas 76801.
