He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lonnie Sharpe and Florence Sharpe (Mercer); his grandmother Little Joe Hernandez; his brother Phil Sharpe; his wife Martha Sharpe of Temple; his stepdaughter Tammy (Nate Weathers) of Iowa; his children, Regina (Tim Willis) of Round Rock and Gregory Sharpe (Mariana) of Texas City; his sister Gail Beal of Chicago; and his pet Ginger. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
