He was predeceased by: his sister Bernice Diaz; and his grandfather Robert Cardenas Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Teresa Cardenas of Temple and Eluid Almeida of Temple; his daughters, Aubrey Nevaeh Diaz of Temple and Nadia Tiana Diaz of Temple; his siblings, Nancy (Marcus Torres), Crystal (Stephen Hernandez), Fatima Diaz of Victorville, CA, Miguel Cardenas of Temple, Anthony Diaz of Temple, David Huete of Temple and Jacob Diaz of Victorville, CA; his nephews, Marcus "Junior", Avery, Chris "Bubba", Mason, Bryson and Gabryel; and his niece Destiny.
