It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Franks (Temple, Texas), who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Goode and Willie Goode; her significant other Jody Franks; and her granddaughter Christy Jo. She is survived by: her children, Joseph "Joey" Franks (Sheryl), Douglas "Doug" Franks (Melisa), Cherrí Franks Hill (Ronnie) and Lisa Franks Byers; her sisters, Linda Jernigan and Jane Pruitt (Jimmy); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Franks Poff (Jody), Gaylon Bartlett (Brittany), Ron McGuire and Chirsty Jo's. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson, and a large extended family and many wonderful friends.

Memorials may be made to Baylor Scott and White Hospice.
