She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Richardson and Goldie McDonald Richardson; her husband Chester "Chuck" Smith; her son James Chester; her great grandchild Gus Smith; and her brothers, Eli, Hulon, Preston, Buford, Louis and Marvin Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Smith Garner (Mike) of Pflugerville, C. A. Smith, Jr. (Susan) of Belton and Tim Smith (Diane) of Stephenville; and her grandchildren, Jim Garner, Malynn Garner McVicker, Jeff Garner, Jennifer Smith, Chet Smith, Vanessa Smith Mason, Keri Behrends and Michael Norris. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Ronald McDonald House Charities or to Dell Children's Medical Center 4900 Mueller Blvd, Austin, TX 78723 would be appreciated.
