“Other than my family, Mary was the most important person in my life. I treasured our time together, since we bonded on so many levels. There was book club and bridge, but just being able to talk to her about anything and know that she was really listening and caring meant the world to me. She was so wise, and I had the utmost respect for her. One of her students, Jo Jo Morrison, told me Mrs. Post taught him to write, but Mrs. Adams taught him how to think, a truly great teacher.”
