She was predeceased by: her parent Dale Nix; her husband Garland Ray Haak; her daughter Pamala Raye Haak; her parent Saphronia Nix Daniels; her stepmother Lucille Nix; and her siblings, John Nix and Dorothy Wilhite.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Lynn Haak of Abilene; and her sister Joy Sharp Kelley of Salado. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Marlene requested that memorial contributions be made to the Abilene Volunteer Services Council for the benefit of the residents at the Abilene State Supported Living Center.
