He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loretha Estelle Hannon Pollak and Adolph Stanley "Dixie" Pollak; his wife Barbara Kay "Dottie" Buchanan (Jerry Lee Lewis); his son Michael Alan Pollak (Brandi); his brother Michael Hannon Pollak (Carol) of Amarillo, TX; his niece Berkley Cullum; his children, Morgan and TJ of Amarillo, TX.; his cousins, Joyce Holmes, Vicki Thomas, Jimmy Hannon, Gary Hannon and Colleen Cox; his nieces, Jodi Livingston, Tracie Roach-Green and Jodi Bartlett; his adoptive daughter Edna Maryon; and also Ad've.

“Dottie, my prayers and condolences goes to you and your family. Dr P (as we all called him here at Sheppard) was a true gentleman with integrity and wit. I have missed him so much in the past few months. When he would walked into the morning huddle it was like a ray of sunshine that would lighten up the room. He always had a word of wisdom to share, an ear to listen. Doc was such a huge part of our family and this hole can never be filled. Sending continued prayers for strength and comfort. Lisa”
