He is survived by: his parents, Edward Chlapek and Martha Chlapek (Coleman) of Temple; his wife Crystal Shifflett of Temple; and his siblings, Pam Tyroch (Rodney) of Belton, Rodney Chlapek of Temple and Eddie Wayne Chlapek (Karen) of Temple. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
