She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Maples and Rossa Maples; her husband Richard Tarter of Temple; her children, James K. Tarter of Schertz, Texas and Sarah E. Tarter of San Antonio, Texas; her brother Mack Maples of Anna, Texas; her grandchildren, Brendon, James, Cheyenne, Kiersten and Ryder; and also Linda Merrell of Belton.
The family suggests donations to made to the Friends of the Temple Public Library in Lieu of flowers.
