Marilyn Herring Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Herring of Temple, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ponton and Alpha Franklin Ponton; her former husband Oral Allen Worley; her husband Frank Herring; her sister Opal Booth; her stepdaughter Connie Allen; and her grandson Travis Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia "Marcy" Kelley; her stepson John Herring; and her grandchildren, Brian Kelley, Mike Allen, Michelle Allen-Hughes, John Matthew Herring and Jeremiah Herring. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made in Marilyn's honor to the Alzheimer's Association and the Wounded Warrior Project.
